At school everybody was talking about Webkinz. I was the only one who didn't have one.
You might wonder what is a Webkinz?
A Webkinz is a stuffed animal that comes with a code. You then go on to the website and type in your code and create your account. Then you can play Games, earn Kinz cash and buy stuff for your pet.
Well, I kept asking my mom if I could get a Webkinz, she finally agreed to buy me one when she had time. Every day after school, I would ask her if we could go to the shop and buy a Webkinz. She said she would buy when she had time. But I kept on nagging her and she finally got so fed up and said that if I wanted a Webkinz I would have to wait a whole week without asking her for a Webkinz. I had no choice but to agree. I patiently waited a whole week and finally on Sunday, we went to the mall and mama bought us one.

Man that was gonna be hard.
But I didn't care, I was so excited to own a Webkinz. We bought a brown dog and my siblings and I fought all the way back home for a suitable name. Since we were not allowed to play computer or watch TV on Saturday and Sunday, We had to wait a whole day and 7 hours( while we were at school) to be able to register our account and play the games. We finally managed to register our account on Monday afternoon. Because I was the oldest, I got to use the account first. We named our pet Brownie. I was so excited when I first got on the site. My favourite games are Bulls eye batter, Wheel of Wow, Wishing well, Gem mining, Zacky's quest and Home before Dark.
Then came my Birthday and one of my friends gave me another Webkinz. It was a monkey and it was going to be the pet of the month in July. I named it Cocoa. You might be wondering what the pet of the month is all about. Pet of the month is the pet chosen by the website. The pet of the month gets to do exclusive things that regular pets aren't allowed to do.
My sister also wanted her own Webkinz, so she kept on bugging my mom and no amount of threat would keep her from nagging. So my mom had no choice but to buy her a Webkinz. She bought a spotted leopard for my sister and my sister named it Leona.
My mom plays games like solitaire to earn money for my baby sister and she spends it all on stuff. Then she sells all the stuff she bought at a very low price. So she usually ends up with no money and mama has to play games again for her.
Since my sister and I both got our own Webkinz, my brother was stuck with Brownie. He was fighting because he wanted a different Webkinz, because he didn't get to pick his own Webkinz. But Mama isn't gonna buy another Webkinz for a long time. Three kids, three Webkinz. That is her rule.
